Opinion 1:

Yes, they will. They deny that Jesus Christ was God in the flesh. Every single cult denies the deity of Christ , and Jehovah Witnesses do not believe that Jesus was God. They are a cult: they are not a Christian church.

In John 1:1 it plainly says Christ was God, with a capital 'G'. :-

John 1:1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. (King James version)

This is also rendered 'the Word was God' in the ASV , RSV, BBE, GNB, ISV, LITV, MKJV, NKJV, WEB, and Message, the NET translates it as 'the Word was fully God', the CEV as 'was truly God'. The Amplified version makes all of this very plain:

In the beginning [before all time] was the Word [Christ] , and the Word was with God, and the Word was God Himself.

In contrast, the Jehovah Witnesses (who have their own translation) translate this verse as '...the Word was a god' (John 1:1 New World Translation).

This is vitally important, because the small 'g', along with the 'a', makes Christ just one among many other gods. JWs deny that Jesus was divine. This is not an isolated case: it has also been done in John 8:58, 10:33, 14:9; Acts 20:28, Rom 9:5, Phil 2:5-6, Col 1:16, 2:9; Titus 2:13, and Heb 1:8.

If we deny Christ, He will deny us:-

Mat 10:33 But whosoever shall deny me before men, him will I also deny before my Father which is in heaven. (KJ)

Luk 12:9 But he that denieth me before menshall be denied before the angels of God.(KJ)

Joh 5:22-23 For the Father judgeth no man, but hath committed all judgment unto the Son: that all men should honour the Son, even as they honour the Father. He that honoureth not the Son honoureth not the Father which hath sent him.(KJ)

Joh 14:6 Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.

2Ti 2:12 If we suffer, we shall also reign with him:if we deny him, he also will deny us: (KJ)

1Jn 2:21 I have not written unto you because ye know not the truth, but because ye know it, and that no lie is of the truth.

1Jn 2:22 Who is a liar but he that denieth that Jesus is the Christ? He is antichrist, that denieth the Father and the Son.

1Jn 2:23 Whosoever denieth the Son, the same hath not the Father: (but) he that acknowledgeth the Son hath the Father also.

Mat 7:21 Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven.

Mat 7:22 Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works?

Mat 7:23 And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity.

Christ is the only way to salvation:if you don't believe that then you miss out on salvation:-

Act 2:21 And it shall come to pass, that whosoever shall call on the name of the Lord shall be saved.

Act 4:10 Be it known unto you all, and to all the people of Israel, that by the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, whom ye crucified, whom God raised from the dead, even by him doth this man stand here before you whole.

Act 4:11 This is the stone which was set at nought of you builders, which is become the head of the corner.

Act 4:12 Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved.

Jesus Christ is LORD of all, not just another supervisor:-

Php 2:5 Let this mind be in you, which was also inChrist Jesus:

Php 2:6 Who, being in the form of God, thought it not robbery to be equal with God:

Php 2:7 But made himself of no reputation, and took upon him the form of aservant, and was made in the likeness of men:

Php 2:8 And being found in fashion as a man, he humbled himself, and became obedient unto death, even the death of the cross.

Php 2:9 Wherefore God also hath highly exalted him, and given him a name which is above every name:

Php 2:10 That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth;

Php 2:11 And that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.

The Jehovah Witnesses have other problems as well, but denying the deity of Christ is the main one. By denying that Christ is God Himself, they (indeed, anyone) are guaranteeing that they will not receive salvation themselves and thus go straight to hell.

Opinion 2:

As one of Jehovah's Witnesses I can answer that contrary to some beliefs we do not go to hell, but as I answered in another question in a reference point to The Bible there is a section that states what words mean and hell actually means the grave. So if you want to take it that way then yes we do go to hell along with every other person who dies. But I am not going to have a religious debate with anyone about hell and any other beliefs I am just stating what I know personally and I would be glad to leave scriptures on this message to back up what I am referring to.

Opinion 3:

As one of Jehovah's Witnesses I can answer that we do not go to hell, but in a reference point to the Bible there is a section that states what words mean and hell actually means the grave. So if you want to take it that way then yes we do go to hell along with every other person who dies.

Opinion 4:

Most Christian denominations (Jehovah's Witnesses included) believe the eternal fate of any individual or group of individuals rests ultimately with the Almighty who judges all. Humans are not at liberty to declare what will happen after death to anyone.

Jehovah's Witnesses don't believe in hell. They believe the bible "hell" is in fact simply the common grave where all humans (good and bad) are in an state of non-existence.

Opinion 5:

There are individual ones who might be cast into the lake of fire to suffer the second death, which is final. After all, Romans 6:23 says, "For all have sinned and fell short of the glory of God.", so Witnesses, like others of other Christian faiths, can sin.

But many more probably will not go to hell. After all Romans 10:13 says, "For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord, shall be saved."

Opinion 6:

Does God intend for humans to decide who goes to heaven and who goes to hell? Isn't it a bit presumptuous of us to pass judgment on one another's faith? Perhaps it would serve God and mankind better for each to practice his or her own faith with love and integrity, and trust God to make the really big decisions.

Only if of the anointed discussed in Revelation 7:4, for further information read Revelation 5:9,10 and revelation 14:1-3 in this order. For the majority of everyone else we naturally just die. We do not go to heaven or Hell we just die. According to Ecclesiastes 9:5 we are in a unconscious like state and according to 1 Thessalonians 4:13 the dead are mentioned to be in a deep sleep. During this sleep like stasis we await the arrival of Jehovah's kingdom here on the Earth and those who have died will be resurrected, John 5:28,29, and we will live in peace on the Earth. Read Psalms 37:29

Yes, Jehovah's Witnesses believe in both. They believe Heaven to be the realm of the spirit world were God and other spirit beings like angels, live and hell to be the common grave of mankind.

Jehovah's Witnesses believe that some humans that die will be resurrected to spirit life in heaven (144,000). They do not believe in a place of eternal torment for the wicked.

The Bible makes clear that Jesus was raised from the dead and that he went to heaven. Also, it says that other humans would be taken there. On the night before his death, Jesus told his faithful apostles: "In the house of my Father there are many abodes. Otherwise, I would have told you, because I am going my way to prepare a place for you. Also, if I go my way and prepare a place for you, I am coming again and will receiveyou home to myself, thatwhere I am you also maybe."-John 14:1-3.

Clearly, Jesus was telling his apostles that they would be taken to heaven to be with him. The Apostle Paul often told early Christians about that wonderful hope. For example, he wrote: "As for us, our citizenship exists in the heavens, from which place also we are eagerly waiting for a savior, the Lord Jesus Christ." (Philippians 3:20, 21; Romans 6:5; 2 Corinthians 5:1, 2) Based on such promises, millions of persons have set their hearts on heavenly life.

However, when the Bible speaks of "the congregation of the living God," it is referring to a particular group of Christ's followers. (1 Timothy 3:15) They are also called "the congregation of the firstborn who have been enrolled in the heavens." (Hebrews 12:23) So this "congregation of God" is made up of all Christians on earth who have the hope of heavenly life. In all, only 144,000 persons finally make up the "congregation of God." Today only a few of these, a remnant, are still on earth. Christians who hope to live forever on earth look for spiritual guidance from members of this "congregation of the living God." The Bible also refers to this congregation of 144,000 members by such terms as "the bride, the Lamb's wife," "the body of the Christ," "the temple of God," "the Israel of God," and the "New Jerusalem."-Revelation 21:9; Ephesians 4:12; 1 Corinthians 3:17; Galatians 6:16; Revelation 21:2.

To give the other side of this question:

Christians believe that only those who accept Jesus Christ as their Lord and Saviour, and believe that Jesus Christ is the only begotten Son of God, equal with God in His Divinity, will go to heaven.

Jehovah's Witnesses do not believe that Jesus is fully God as well as fully human, and nor do they believe in the Holy Trinity of father, Son and Holy Spirit (one God in three Persons). They believe Jesus is a wholly distinct person from God the father, and that he is an archangel - despite the fact that nowhere in the Bible does it state this. Christians believe what the Bible says - that Jesus is one with God, existing with Him from the beginning.

The concept that only 144,000 is a belief unique to the Jehovah's Witnesses. Christians believe that all who believe that Jesus is Lord and one with the Father, and who trust in Him will be welcomed into Heaven. There is no limit to the numbers who may enter. The only restriction is that those who practise false doctrine - whether that be Atheism, materialism or just plain denial of Christ's Divinity and Lordship equal with God - will be excluded.

The number 144,000 going to heaven is taken literally for several reasons. One is found in the context of Revelation 7:4 " And I heard the number of those who were sealed, 144,000, sealed out of every tribe of the sons of Israel." After the apostle John was told in vision about this group of 144,000 individuals, he was shown another group, a great crowd which no man was able to number, out of all nations and tribes and peoples and tongues. This great crowd is described at Revelation 7:9, 14. Note the contrast that John draws between verses 4 and 9 of Reveation chapter 7. He states the first group, those who are sealed, has a definite number. However the second group, a great crowd is without a definite number. With that in mind it is logical to take the number 144,000 to be literal. If thr number 144,000 was symbolic and referred to a group that is actually numberless, the force of the contrast between those two verses would be lost. Thus, the context strongky indicates the number 144,000 must be taken literally. Watchtower 9/1/04

No, Jehovah's Witnesses believe that death is a state of complete non existence. They do not believe in eternal torment. They hold the hell referred to in scripture is simply the grave to which all people both good and evil go and are unconscious and inactive. Jehovah's Witnesses do not believe in eternal torment after death in a hellfire or place of agony for the evil. They hold that both the teaching of hellfire and that of the immortality of the soul are unscriptural.

Jehovah's witnesses believe in heaven but not hell. They believe in paradise on earth (as per Garden of Eden) instead. The sermon on the mount KJV version says "The meek shall inherit the EARTH (not heaven).

They believe the "hell" mentioned in scripture to be a term for the common grave of mankind. They do not believe in a place of eternal torment for the souls of the wicked.

According to the Watchtower 1st Nov 1968 p662.....In the Hebrew Scriptures of the Bible the word "hell" is translated from the Hebrew word sheol´. This word occurs 65 times in all. The King James Version of the Bible, however, translates sheol´ 31 times as "hell," 31 times as "grave," and 3 times as "pit." The Catholic Douay Version of the Bible translates sheol´ as "hell" 63 times and as "pit" once and as "death" once. In the Christian Greek Scriptures the word "hell" is sometimes translated from the Greek word ha´des. Both the King James and Douay versions translate ha´des as "hell" in each of its ten occurrences.

Is hell a hot place? Do sheol´ and ha´des refer to some place where the wicked suffer after death? It is plain that they do not, for we have already seen that the dead are not conscious and therefore cannot suffer. The Bible does not contradict itself with regard to the condition of those in hell. This is proved by the fact that the Bible says that Jesus was in hell. (Acts 2:31, AV, Dy) When the apostle Peter stated this on the day of Pentecost, he clearly meant that Jesus had been in the grave, not in a place of fiery torment. (1 Cor. 15:3, 4) In saying this the apostle quoted from Psalm 16:10 (15:10, Dy]. Here the Hebrew word sheol´ was used, and at Acts 2:31 this word is translated by the Greek word ha´des. This shows that sheol´ and ha´des refer to the same thing.

The Bible "hell" is actually mankind's grave

No. they don't believe anything will happen to a person after death unless they are part of the 144,000 chosen people who go to heaven, in fact when a person dies it is liken to sleep so they are conscious of nothing at all. They believe this as in the bible it points out that there will be a paradise on earth that will be here after this system of thing has been destroyed in the battle of Armageddon. that is why they go on their preaching work because they want to save people before Armageddon comes and destroys the wicked things on the earth.

in conclusion no they do not believe in hell as this is not a scriptural belief but a belief that has been taken on by other Christian churches. In the bible it does talk about Gehenna or hell where the wicked will be tossed into this means an external death which as previously stated means they will conscious of nothing at all. This all makes sense when you look at gods quality's as he is has and what he has done for mankind. He is the god of love and has given his only begotten son to save us so why would he punish mankind that he loves in an eternal hell?

Jehovah's Witnesses believe that the vast majority will live forever in paradise on earth. They believe only a limited number, 144,000 will go to heaven. This information is based on such scriptural passages as "The meek will inherit the earth" from Jesus's sermon on the mount (King James Bible) and passages in Revelation.
