Will a teaching degree from Strayer be recognized by the state of Florida as an accredited university?

Strayer University has the preferred regional accreditation by the Middle States Association of Colleges and Schools and is a College Board member. Therefore, the coursework and degree completed through this institution will be recognized by all other colleges and universities as well as employers.

I would disagree with what the previous poster said. Just because a school is a member of the Middle States Association of Colleges and Schools does not mean that other member schools will accept credits. Many schools will not accept credits from on-line and/or for-profit schools. If you just want a teaching degree so you can teach you should be fine, however if you want to go on to graduate education or into the business world, it will not be competitive with degrees from traditional institutions (but is still much better than no degree at all!)
