Yes, if that is not what is supposed to be used. Read you owner's manual and only install what is required. it also makes the Power Steering motor hum when you turn the wheel, unless you drain it, then run the correct power steering fluid through it to get the tranny fluid out. it may take a time or two before the humming stops. tranny fluid is not designed for that. . . .it is not meant to get that hot ( power steerign gets hotter than the transmission)thats why it whines so much. . . its burnt
