"The fluid produced by the testicles contains several chemicals, but is particularly rich in testosterone."

If semen is ingested, a woman's (or man's) body will absorb a percentage of testosterone. The absorption of semen into the body is different than direct injection of steroids, and the physical effects are fractionally less. A woman, for instance, cannot dramatically increase muscle mass, or experience a noticeable deepening of the voice through the absorption of testosterone through semen. However, recurrent testosterone absorption coupled with the natural variances in a woman's PH levels can increase sexual awareness and desire. These states are transitory, and typically follow the woman's menstrual cycle, peaking just before and just after the luteal phase. The additional hormones can have intermittent side effects, such as increased sensitivity to physical stimulation (such as sensitivity to the nipples), or changes in mood, usually a peremptory shift or an increase in energy.

"No retard testosterone is only in males and estrogen and progesterone is in females so obviously there's a difference and it's not possible to be absorbed"

- An Ignoramus

It really bothers me when people who don't know what they're talking about say things like this. The truth is, testosterone exists in both Males AND Females, as does estrogen. The difference is that each sex has more of one than the other. I do not think so, to answer the question, though there have allegedly been studies that point to it working as an anti-depressant when vaginally absorbed.

Can swallowing semen boost testosterone levels?

No, the other way around. Higher testosterone levels will increase sperm. A differing view is that testosterone is absorbed by some soft tissues in the body. it is a fact that women do get a boost in Testosterone from semen during sex, They also pick up testosterone from deep (french) kissing a man. So if that is so & it is, Semen in the mouth will allow for the absorption of Testosterone. Swallowing, probably not, the acid in the stomach will break down the Testosterone.

What is semen where is it released?

Its a secretion produced by the testosterone and released by penis during ejaculation

What gland secretes testosterone?

The prostate. 2nd answer: Sorry, but the testes (testicles) secretes testosterone. The prostate is involved in producing semen which eventually carry sperm cells to their destination.

Well, scientifically, it makes testosterone and sperm. Testosterone makes your body mature. Sperm, which exits the body as semen through the penis, makes kids possible

Does sperm make your muscles grow?

If you are asking "Does ingesting sperm or semen make your muscles grow" the answer is no. While there may be some testosterone in the semen, your body won't process it into testosterone in you. Testosterone is produced by complex chemical processes in the body and ingesting semen does not assist this process. If you want to make your muscles grow, exercise them, eat healthy foods. Chemically, you would need to take Anabolic Steroids or HGH to stimulate growth beyond what you can achieve by exercise and diet. However these techniques have serious health repercussions. If you enjoy ingesting semen however, it isn't harmful. Semen consists mostly of secretions from the prostate and other glands, with a small fraction of actual motile sperm. Also, semen is not "high" in protein. It is mostly water, sugars, saline and other liquids that provide a good environment for sperm to live outside of the body for a short period of time.

Does semen help PMS?

Opinion: If you swallow semen during the month, then just before your period comes you will have less of a negative mood swing. And during your period you will have less cramps and bloating. As ridiculous as all this sounds, it is pretty basic & sound physiology. #1 Women need Testosterone! Even deep kissing is pleasant because it allows the passing of higher levels of Male testosterone to the female. #2 Elevated Testosterone helps create more endorphins & More serotonin & that helps with everything from cramps to sleeping and sex drive. No it does not. Kissing a man or having sex with him does not raise our Testosterone levels.

Is it possible for the prostate gland to rupture and leak semen from the anus?

"There's no semen in the prostate. The prostate produce the hormone testosterone that is needed to produce sperms. And no it wont burst and has no connection to the colon. You feel it through the colon wall if you stick a finger up your butt. It is located below the bladder, surrounding the urethra." The above answer is complete and utterly wrong. 1st, the prostate doesn't produce testosterone, the testicles do. The word "semen" is used, but the person questioning, I am sure, means ejaculate. But in any case, semen is produced by the testicles and combined with the fluids from the seminal vesicles and prostate, produce the ejaculate that contains the sperm from the epididymitis. It is ENTIRELY possible for a fistula to form between the prostate, vas defferens or urethra in any combination or together and lead the semen traveling through there into the rectum. So to answer you question, yes it is possible.
