First, pineapples don't grow on trees. They are plants that grow on the ground, but yes they will grow in Arizona. All you need is the top of the pineapple, cut it off as you would when preparing the fruit to eat. Put the top in some water 1-2 inches and roots will begin to grow. Then you can plant it in a pot and keep it inside or out. You will need some good potting soil (not cactus soil) make sure it is in a place that gets only morning sun. When watering, only water it enough to see the water come out the bottom of the pot and don't water again until the soil is completely dry two inches below the surface as to not let the roots rot. once you get a good root system you can plant it in the ground dig the hole about 12" by 24" big enough to accommodate the root ball and the potting soil. pineapples don't do well in the AZ soil. You may not get fruit until the second or third year. if growing outside, they will tolerate cold to 28 degrees so you will need to cover them if you are in an area that gets a hard freeze. When covering I found it best to use something that doesn't touch the plant.
Yes because Arizona is the desert and every flower blooms all the time!!!!!!!

on small plantNo. They don't grow on trees. They are herbaceous perrennials and grow in the middle of a plant that is more like a spiky bush. Although you may think it would grow on a tree (because it is a tropical fruit) in actuality a pineapple is a ground dwelling fruit, like a tomato.
