Downloading any copywrited song is illegal and is stealing. Will you get sued? Possibly.
AnswerDownloading a copyrighted song is not illegal. Sharing a copyrighted song is illegal. The people that get fined or sued are those that share hundreds of songs. It is the responsibility of those that have the song and then distribute it. It is not illegal for me to buy a CD and store a copy of it on my computer and on my mp3 player and on the mp3 player in my car. I have the rights to use that CD and its songs for my own personal use. If I copy that CD or a song off of it and "distribute" it to one or more people, that is copyright infringment. Also, if I play my CD in a public arena without expressed permission that can also be copyright infringment. Unless the legislation has changed. AnswerIn my personal opinion, I would not call downloading "stealing." Stealing is something that happens when you don't have permission to take something. When I download a song, I have been given permission to do so by the host that I am downloading from. If I hacked into that host's computer and took a file, that would be stealing. No, I am not stealing music from the artist or their corporate overlords, so don't even go there. Someone bought their music at some point and now that person is illegally distributing the music they bought. Those that receive it are simply guilty of receiving a gift that wasn't meant to be given.No, downloading music is not illegal. Sharing music most certainly is.

You try down loading LimeWire and once it gets to the unpacking file and connection part it tells you it could not connect and to try to download again you don't know what is going on please help?
