Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart was a famous composer who was born in Vienna, Austria, in 1756. He was a child prodigy who wrote his first Symphony at the age of four. (It is unknown if his father had helped with this, although he probably had.

By the age of six, in 1762, he, his father, his mother and his sister, Nannerl, toured around Europe and preformed for various kings and queens. Leopold Mozart -Wolfgang's father- always advertised his children as a year younger than their actual age.

While stopping in England during the Mozarts' European tour, they came across Joseph Haydn, who heard some of Wolfgang's and Nannerl's works. He too, agreed that the Mozarts were prodigies.

At the age of thirty-five, Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart is found dead in his home. His middle name, Amadeus, means "lover of God". "Deus" is a well-known term for God.

Nearly 200 years after his death, Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart's reign over Classical Music is still fresh in our hearts. He composed over 600 works; including three operas, 41 symphonies, and countless concertos, minutes and sonatas. Many believe he was -and still is- the world's greatest composer.

This question is too vague. Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart was a composer (someone who writes music). He lived from 1756-1791, meaning he was 35 years old when he died. If you want to learn more, just go on Wikipedia.

Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart was born in Salzburg, Austria in 1756

Here is a timeline: ( below)

In 1762-1765 he goes on a europe concert tour, performs for Queen Marie Antoinette of France, and King George III of England.

In 1779 he becomes the church and court organist for the Archbishop of Salzburg.

In 1781 he moves to Vienna, and marries a women named Constanze Weber.

They had six children but only two of them lived to be adults. ( how sad)

In 1791 He dies in Vienna at the age 35.

Here is his story:

Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart was born to Leopold and Anna Maria Pertl Mozart in 1756 in what is now Salzburg, Austria. His father Leopold Mozart was a choir master, a minor composer and an experienced teacher. When Mozart's sister Nannerl was seven she began keyboard lessons with her father while the three year old Wolfgang watched with fascination. At age 4 Mozart himself began keyboard lessons playing without fault and with great sensitivity. By age 5 Mozart was composing short pieces which his father wrote down for him. Mozart's father eventually decided to give up composing when young Amadeus' impressive musical talents became evident. At age six Mozart and Nannerl began traveling through Europe with their father giving concerts in the courts of Europe. While touring, Mozart learned to play the violin and the organ. At age 8 Mozart published his first two sonatas for the harpsichord.

At thirteen, he composed his first opera at the request of an emperor. By age 25 Mozart "had established himself as the finest keyboard player in Vienna," and was recognized as an accomplished composer. Some of his most famous pieces include Eine Kleine Nacht Musik, which means 'A Little Night Music', and his twelve variations on the French tune 'Twinkle, Twinkle Little Star', called Variations on "Ah vous dirais-je, Maman".

On December 5, 1791, Mozart died at 35 years of age, leaving behind a collection of more than 600 compositions, including works for the symphony, the piano, and the opera. Some of these pieces are considered to be the finest works of the Classical style.

*Many believe that Mozart composed the tune to 'Twinkle, Twinkle Little Star' when he was 4 or 5 years of age. The misconception is further enhanced by its appearance in Trival Pursuit and Snapple Facts as the 'correct' answer

He was a great composer that loved to perform for his country and for other countries, too.

What an unbelievable man.
