Other than interjections such as "Ooo!" and "Aieee!" (OED variant of aiyee), there are almost no English words consisting of vowels, or having only vowel sounds.
There are the one-letter words I and a, but the others listed as Scrabble words are not everyday English:
AA - AE - AI - AIA -
EA - EAU - EE - EUOI - EUOUAE -
IO - OE - OI - OO - OU
Of these, only eau, from French, seems familiar. The term euoi is ostensibly a cry from a Bacchian revelry and euouae is a mnemonic of the vowels in seculorum amen (last two words of a Gregorian chant in Latin).
All English words have vowels or vowel sounds. The letter Y, although it is a consonant, can also be a vowel. In some Welsh words, the letter W is a vowel.
Some acronyms (or initialisms such as CNN) may not have vowels, and onomatopoeia words such as psst, shh, mmmand grr have vowel sounds but not actual vowels. The sounds zzz and tsk are not even spoken words (snoring, clucking tongue).
The mathematical word nth also has no vowels (but is pronounced as enth).

There aren't any English words without a vowel letter, unless you include vocal gesture words and vocalized pauses, like hmm and Shh.If "y" is used as a vowel, then it is considered a vowel letter. So the word rhythm is the longest word without a,e,i,o,and u, but it definitely has a vowel letter in it.
Y isnt really known as a vowel so Yes!There's Why Fry Cry By ShyCwtch is a Welsh word meaning cupboard.
This depends on what you consider a vowel and what words you consider included in the English language. There are about 310 words without a,e,i,o, or u.
i think it is rhythm :)In the English language, every syllable has to have a vowel, so there is no word without a vowel. Words can have no consonants, but must have vowels. In the word rhythm, the y is a vowel, not a consonant.
You cannot produce a non-utterance in spoken language with vowels. Since written language is a representation of the spoken language, you cannot have words without vowels.Technically, no. "y" in the examples like shy is a vowel (as it makes a vowel sound); just like in loan words such as Gwn (whereby Welsh uses "w" as a vowel). A vowel is not defined by the letter that represents it but rather by the sound that is produced
An orphan , any words that start with a vowel you say an , any other words starting without a vowel you say a ,
