Would a narcissist tell you that they are sorry for being they way they are and that they cant feel certain emotions if they didnt know they were one?

Narcissists will say & do anything. Sorry doesn't mean much to someone with no feelings.

An introvert is turned inward and away from the world as a defence against abandonment and/or rejection.A narcissist is turned inward and away from the world also as a defence, but additionally, turned towards the love-object of the self.ADDITIONALLY:An introvert possesses empathy as any rational human being; a narcissist has no empathy and no capacity for developing empathy. A narcissist cannot experience compassion for another human being. A narcissist intellectually understands that empathy and/or compassion are true emotions that human beings experience and they do realize that these emotions do exist. A narcissistic person can never truly experience the emotions themselves.Example: A virgin intellectually knows (due to media and others personal testimonies etc.) that a sexual experience would more than likely be a gratifying one; However, the virgin cannot "know" how sex "feels" until they actually experience a sexual interaction themselves.Likewise, the narcissist is aware that the emotions empathy and compassion exist (due to media and others personal testimonies etc.) but they will NEVER know what it feels like to have these emotions. They lack the hardware necessary for these emotions to become realities for them. It is sad, really.

Why would ANYONE want to be with a narcissist? A codependent would be about the only type of personality that could tolerate being with a narcissist, and they will pay a terrible price. Dump the narcissist and get some help with the codependency. ACOA, CODA, Al-anon and Nar-anon are as close as your telephone.

No. Their narcissism would prevent them from it. It would mean they have a problem and as far as the narcissist is concerned they have no problems but the rest of the world that has the problems.

It's difficult to prove a negative. If a narcissist finds out some of those characteristics, all he has to do is be a good actor. Not being a narcissist is the only quality one could have to prove one is not a narcissist. There is no act a person can perform or one thing a person can do that would prove once and for all that the person is not and never has been and never will be a narcissist. Yet all the same, if you are not a narcissist, other people will recognize this fact, just as if you are, that too will come to light. Empathy. Narcissist's do not posess it nor do they understand it.

Why would a Narcissist stalk and harass when you leave him instead of just acting like you do not exist and moving on?
Because he doesent want to lose that control, he doesent want to lose you, you fuel his needs, narcissist dont think just anyone will put up with them. Narcissist fear greatly being a lone, no one to abuse and they just have to be depressed.
