It possibly could be the waters from the amniotic sac which holds the baby. Sometimes these will not rupture with a burst, but slowly leak from in front of the baby's head. If labor does not start within a day, it might be a good idea to see your doctor.
If the fluid is colored greenish, it may mean that the baby is in distress, and you should see your doctor straight away. If it is thick and mucousy in texture, it can be the plug coming away, which means your body is getting ready for labor.
