park facing closed garage door about the length of your vehicle away.you should be on level ground to do this.headlight beam should be same width apart same hidth to, as your vehicle.only go 10 to 15 feet away.i found it best to do on low beam.high will fall into play without adjustment.works for me.hope this helps.oh and do it when its just starting to get dark.good luck let us know if it works for you.
remove the 2" diameter plugs, 1 for each light. Behind is the horizontal adjustment screw. Remove the black plastic surround and see the vertical adjustment screw. david Eyles
As far as I know, there is no adjustment.
You can adjust your VW carburetor by using the adjustment screws. There is an adjustment screw to adjust the flow of fuel. There is an adjustment screw to adjust the flow of air.
Hey Raymon===What I like to do is get on a dark road at night and there is an up - down adjustment and a left -right adjustment on each headlight. I adjust them on dims like I want to see at night being careful not to get them too high. There are adjusting tools you can rent in some stores that just clip on the headlight and have directions on how to adjust them. GoodluckJoe

I think there is a plastic shroud covering the top of those headlamps. If you unscrew the plastic piece above the lamps you should see the adjusment screws The headlamps will only adjust vertical. When you open the hood and look down at the headlamp you will see one small bolt at the bottom corner of the lamp. Turn this to adjust the headlamps vertically. There is NO plastic piece to remove.
