The best thing to do is to talk to this boy and ask what he really thinks without letting on that you really love him.
Tell him if he loves you then could he please prove it, that you don't want to be hurt by him.
Tell him how you feel but if he doesnt feel the same way then not to spread it and if he does then he isn't worth it.
