You don't really know what your saying. You may have them in a defined contribution plan, but NOT a defined benefit plan. There is no account with a specific value of yours in a DBP. You are promised a specific benefit from the program, the program must have enough to cover all of its' obligations, but no specific part of it is for any specific beneficiary.
Nonetheless, most DCP (and even some some DBP) have a procedure for paying off small beneficiaries early. Most DBP do not. Since if you die early, or fail to collect for any reason, the benefit defaults and is essentially the assets needed are able to be used to pay other participants.
