How do you replace crank shaft sensor on 2005 Chrysler 2005 300c?
The crank shaft sensor on a 1998 BMW 74Oil is located down near the crank on the front of a motor. It is super easy to replace but sometimes reaching the harness wire is a little bit difficult.
in front of the motor by the transmission
Does your vehicle have the LT1? if so there is no crank sensor.. there is an optic sensor in the distributor that controls all..
it sould be on the left side of the motor if your looking at the car on the side of the block under the manifold drive safe

where is the crank shaft pistion sensor located on a 2002 Chevy Malibu, and how hard is it to replace
It is on the front of the crank shaft and under the timing belt cover. You have to remove the crank pulley and all the belts and then the lower timing cover. It is not a job for a beginner.from : http://repairpal.com/crankshaft-sensor-569
THE CRANKSHAFT SENSOR IS LOCATED AT THE REAR OF THE ENGINE UNDER THE STARTER MOTOR. REMOVE AND REPLACE BUT MAKE SURE THE SERFICES ANE CLEAN AND USE A NEW O RING.
It is behind the crank shaft pulley in front of the motor!
