You suck repairing your vehicle and most likely the radiator was either faulty or you messed it up in the process. Either that or you got a part that does not match your vehicle.
got radiator from napa and had mechanic replace it also upper and lower hose and thermostat so why is it getting hot and leaking from cap?
Maybe it's not the radiator. Maybe it is one of the radiator hoses that is leaking. Or possibly the radiator cap or a level sensor.
"transmission fluid leaking from fitting below radiator cap after replacing radiator on 99 surburban
leaking anti freezei also have a 1997 Avalon xls it has 191,400 miles on it,i also had radiator problems, had a hose blow out replaced that then radiator blew replaced radiator while ill replaced the bottom hose at that time also ,then i noticed it kept leaking from the hose ends,so i tightend the hell out of them then i reliazed the cap was bad replaced that i finaly came to relaize that there was to much pressure so drained a little fluid from it still seems to leak a little because i can smell it but i don't know where its leaking from and its not getting into the oil, somebody possibly said to much pressure and it could be the head gasket, but since draining it it seems to be ok
You may have a bad radiator cap.
