3. The military still requires good mental/physical condition/hand & eye coordination; even though computers have taken over much of those tasks; those requirements remain standard.
4. Back in the 20th century MANY MANY airline pilots came from the military. The military trained those men, then after MILLIONS of dollars was spent on them, they left for higher wages flying for the airline companies. Probably still occurs today...although not as bad; because the military's NOT as big (large) as it was during the cold war days. Today's military is SMALLER, and PAYS BETTER, and needs less pilots because of the UAVs and Smart weapons.
For example: It took 1,000 pilots in 1,000 USAF jets to bomb a certain bridge during the Vietnam War in 1965 in two separate days. The bridge stood; and many US jets were shot down during the raids.
Today, only ONE JET would be necessary for that job. And it would most likely down that bridge. That's why today's military is smaller!

first you should try for the NDA examination. If you clear it you can straight away become a pilot after having training. If you don't want to attempt it, then you should go with the ssc examination through which you will become a pilot in the INDIAN NAVY.
