i'd put on a 150 and call it a day. 50 mm, it's less than 2 inches, who would notice, really.. would they look at ur 200 or the other guys 250, huh? think about it. not worth the bucks, wouldn't increase the resale value much.
What is the widest rear tire that will fit a standard 2005 Ducati monster 620 (red) ??? or where can i find a wide tire swingarm kit to make it wider, because my bike is a double sided swingarm. let me know asap at: binxbabe20@hotmail.com thank you.
I believe that is a tricky question. While everything looks the same and it would probably fit, the problem will be with everything else that works with the swingarm. Harley went to the 200mm tire on the rear of softails but I am guessing you know that and that is the reason you are wanting to make the switch. With that being said going with a bigger rim and tire will also force you to possibly change your belt size, pulley, spacers, and possibly even change a spacer in the transmission to give it the correct offset as the rear pulley and keep the belt in line. Otherwise your belt will be rubbing the swingarm or the tire. Not to mention the possible changing of the rear fender and fender struts to allow clearance of a 200mm wheel and tire.
150, thats it w/o a new swingarm!
No, you cannot fit a 200 tire on a 2009 ZX14 with a stock swing arm. The stock swing arm is not wide enough to accommodate a tire that size.
Where is spare tire located on 2005 crossfire
http://www.drivegreen.com/Motorcycle_Tire_Pressure/HARLEY-DAVIDSON.shtml FXSTC is a Softail Custom with tire pressure 30 psi front tire and 40 psi rear tire. Heritage Softail is FLSTC WITH 36 psi front tire and 40 psi rear tire. Hope this is helpful.
On 2006 Heritage Softail Classic the rear is 40 and front is 37
Not without a lot of re-building
No, it is a temporary "donut" tire.
