- It would be wise of you to let your wife continue on as is. Because she has left you for a married coworker her chances of ever marrying this man is nil. Married men use their mistresses (on the side type of women) and seldom ever divorce their wives. Your wife has to learn the hard way. It will be difficult for you to not do anything to try and win her back, but if you chase her and try to have her come back to you the problems will still be there and she may keep seeing this married coworker or find someone else. Meanwhile you should start going out with friends so you are not left at home brooding over the heartache your wife has caused. Let your wife know that you are not going to sit at home and pine away for her and she need not know if you are dating other women or not. Give it three to four months and if your wife does not come back then it would be wise to file for divorce no matter how much it hurts your heart. She may come back before then and if she does be smart and tell her you are not willing to take her back unless she agrees to go with you to see a marriage counselor. A marriage counselor is not there to blame either spouse, but to make them see their weak points in their marriage and then the counselor will give them tools to work within this range of problems. Without this help the marriage will not work.
