Assaulting ANYONE is a criminal offense. Military veterans are not a special class of people - assaults committed aginst them are not automatically a felony offense, unless the type of assault meets the criteria for a felony crime.

I would just remember that Santa represents something... he represents goodness and generosity and peace and love for your fellow men. Those are the important things. If you want to convince people, work on convincing them to care about each other, and to be generous and kind.
