Don't go towards MBA or any other. Dont change ur field of knowledge after masters. Do PhD n become calibre in ur particular field. infact i m doing B.Sc n thinking to do msc in chemistry. N i assure u if u hve really a knowledge of ur field then u really got a good job. Infact u r able to got a job now. there r lot of teaching jobs available in naukri.com for masters so go for that..

All the above are valid only if you are really good enough to do PhD..n remember that PhD is not a child's play that any one can do..Always follow your passions..Ultimately that is what is going to hold you on to what ever job you would take up in future..For eg: People tend to think that anyone can teach children if they have a degree in that particular subject. But to flourish in that field u really need to be talented in teaching. ie. Even if you are a gold medallist in Chemistry you may not make a good teacher. And result- hyper tension, poor salary,depression..It is only an example. So friends try to know your heart at the earliest..Because it is satisfaction at the end of the day that matters!! And you can get it only from the right kind of job. So you need to be very very careful when you think about higher education..

I wanna know what are the courses available after one has completed his/her Bsc in Chemistry.

I was not very good at organic and inorganic, but analytical and physical chem were more more easy for me comparatively.

Please advise on my query. Awaited for your reply

Chemistry is a good subject to study, and elaves itself open to several options.

1) Continued research - usually through a MSc/MChem qualification, and then possibly a PhD, depending on your passion for research

2) Biotech/pharma employment - Small and large biotech and pharmacological companies are always wanting chemistry graduates, either in research or production, as they have a good mix of theoretical and practical knowledge

3) Other employment - a BSc in chemistry shows that you have a genuine ability to focus and work under pressure. Many chemistry graduates go on to work in jobs that have no relevance to chemistry, however the work ethics and skills they picked up by doing an intensive course serve them well

4) Teaching - Many science students end up teaching at high-school level. Study of any science involves a great deal of curiosity, and many scientists enjoy work where they are able to stimulate the curiosity of others.

I am a chemistry student myself, about to start an MChem. One thing worth noting is that in comparison to other departments at my university, chemistry has a very high rate of employability for graduates.

A masters, a phd maybe. You could go into a lab technician, quality assurance or control, or synthetic chemist role mainly
