The best place to ask is Daisy. They offer a service to estimate the value and history of old Daisy air guns and it's free.

I would contact Daisy directly at the link below and ask them.
This is a tough one to answer, because you did not state the particular model. I think you are asking about a 1938 Red Ryder or a N0:111 model 40, but daisy has made quite a few long rifle BB models. So without more information here is what I suggest. Daisy offers a FREE service to tell you more about your old Daisy. See the link below.
Would it not be wonderful if someone had a manual for the 1936 7th variation of the model 25 Daisy on line. However I have never seen one. I also have two old versions of the model 25. Daisy is producing the model 25 again, much like the old ones ( Wood stock not plastic ) with a few upgrades but basically the same rifle. Daisy will send you a manual for any current rifle in production so you can get one of the new rifle manuals for the model 25. ( I also own one of these, the shot tube is much nicer and it has a peep and v sight on the rifle.) Contact Daisy customer service at the link I've posted below, for a new model 25 owners manual.
It would be worth between $80 and $105 in good shape.
I would like to give you an answer, but I can not find any information on a Daisy BB gun model 38. I did find information on a Daisy BB rifle model 38. It was made between 1938-41 and again after the war from 1948-52. In order to give you an estimate of value (For the Rifle model 38) I need to know the current condition of the rifle. Is it still working? Is it in Poor, Fair, Good, Very Good or Excellent condition (Like New). without more information It is not possible to answer this question.
It would be worth between $70 - $85
This rifle was made by Daisy between 1969-73 The value would be between $175 -$200. a little more for the low number.
Daisy made quite a few variations of the rifle over the years. For the best answer I would contact Daisy at the link below. They offer a free service to tell you more about your Daisy.
It would be worth somewhere around $175 - $210 For the model 98 Eagle
It would be worth between $70-$85 USD
It would help if you identified the model number and the current condition of the Daisy. Daisy has made over 100 different models since 1898. To get an estimate of value I need to know if it still works, is it in Poor, Fair, Good, Very good or Excellent condition along with the model number not the serial number.
Do you mean the Model 111 not III? If so in EXCELLENT condition it would be somewhere between $105 and $125. It must be like NEW.. It looks similar to a Daisy Red Ryder. It was made between 1963-78
