replaace the spark plug wires, if they have at least 50,000 miles on them. I switched to Sunoco fuel (it contains ethanol) and the problem vanished! The car had been checked at the dealership a few times for this issue, and finally suggested Sunoco. If you are in Ontario, Canada, you can use Pioneer gas as well, as it is supplied by Sunoco.
