You can try to press the four wheel drive Lo button or put it into 4wLo and back up approx. 30yds or more until you feel it is in 4WD. This may or may not work to reengauge your 4WD.This process works when your vehicle is stuck in 4WD I have never tried to reengauge a 4WD vehicle but it is worth the try. Good luck
Your 4x4 fuse probably blew out.
Yes a circuit will work without a switch but the only problem will be is that electricity will be wasted and there will be no device to stop the flow of current
An old/worn/faulty light switch, or the wires connected to the switch are loose. Replace the switch ASAP.
A short circuit in the wiring or in the switch.
If you have any condition in your bathroom where a switch is malfunctioning you need to replace the switch or the device that is causing the problem. This is very dangerous in a bathroom because of the increased danger of shock because of moisture.
The trip odometer switch on the odometer itself is the dimmer on Toyota Sienna. If you turn this switch all the way to the left your panel would become dark. Simply turn the switch to the right and all panel lights would come on. I had a similar problem and the manual bailed me out.
bad brake light switch
the electric servo and or the switch is bad.could be one or the other. A common problem if not used in some time.

Dont know which one it is but my 98 milliena has the same problem and i am going to replace the ignition switch I'll let you know what happens Well i replaced the ingnition switch. My problem is now fixed. My car had other issues with this problem. My starter would engage when the car was not in gear. It would engage in p. and in n. If you have these issues it could very well be the switch. good luck
It could be the shift motor on the T Case. Or it could be the automatic shift button switch on the dash.
I have a 99 blazer with the same problem. If i move the light dimmer dial from side to side it will stop. You can change the switch or from time to time wiggle the switch.
Most likely a vacuum leak turn on the vehicle and listen in the engine compartment and listen for the sound of air escaping from a hose. Replace the hose and your problem should be fixed (i had this happen to my 1993 s10 blazer)
