Boys are really shy when it comes to girls. He may feel uncomfortable to talk to a girl with her friends around. But if he doesn't talk when his friends are around it means that he hasn't told his friends about you or his friends doesn't understands his feelings. Believe me friends comment a lot about someones bf or gf (which is not very pleasant everytime). He maybe just not want to hear something bad about u!!!
