Most women do not start leaking breast milk in early pregnancy, though it certainly is possible; however, the question states that pregnancy is not necessarily present. There are other possible reasons to be concerned about this, and it would be best to see a physician to not only have a more accurate pregnancy test done (if being pregnant is a possibility) but also to have a test on the level of the hormone responsible for lacation (called prolactin) and to have a breast exam performed to check for any concering lumps.
Actually you can leak breast fluid very early on in a pregnancy but it isn't breas milk it is called colstrum it's before the breast milk and is very common. Also sore breasts. MY DOCTOR told me that.

Hello. Breast discharge due to pregnancy doesn't occur until the woman is in her second or third trimester so its unlikely this is pregnancy related. If the discharge is clear coloured or a milky colour then this is very common and usually caused by too much progesterone in your blood. Its completely harmless. Some nipple discharge is also caused by massaging of the breasts or handling of the breasts. I would see your doctor for a breast examination to make sure its not caused by a milk duct infection.
Yes. But check w/your physician to make sure all is well. ---answer--- Did they leak naturally or you pressed the nipples? ANYTIME a woman presses on her nipples white discharge will come out and IT IS TOTALLY FINE. I have a 3 year old daughter and ever since I had her I have been leaking any time when I pressed my nipples. SO THIS IS NOT A SIGN OF PREGNANCY AND EVERYONE SHOULD KNOW THAT!
Go to the doctor and ask them to take another one
no breast tenderness has nothing to do with with miscarriage---not all women gets pregnancy symptoms---
Its not colostrum coming from your breasts. Colostrum comes out after delivery and first time of breast feeding. Take a pregnancy test for $8.00 and stop wondering.
The breasts are preparing to produce milk for breast feeding.
Breasts change color during pregnancy or with inflammatory breast cancer.
This may be pregnancy related, especially if you've missed your period. Perform a pregnancy test to be certain. If the test is negative see your doctor for a breast examination.

You can begin to notice breast changes as early as two weeks into your pregnancy. It really varies upon when you will notice breast swelling in the beginning of pregnancy though.

The symptoms of fibrocystic breast disease are tenderness, lumpiness, and pain in the breasts. This is not uncommon in women, as over 50% of women have fibrocystic breasts.
There could be several reasons why your breasts might feel tender on the side and underneath. Tender breasts can be part of premenstrual symptoms and can also be a sign of pregnancy.
