Check the charge (freon) first. Get a can of R134 from an auto parts store-they come with a gauge or get the gauge separate if cheaper. You can plug into the pressure valves on lines high & low side. (They are pretty much like tire valves, round, about dime-sized, usually blue for low, red for high)If needed-add & check for leaks. Usually leaks occur where lines come together & is just a bad o ring. If that's ok, ensure compressor clutch is engaging. (you can hear it go off & on) Even if there is a problem, you don't replace the whole system, just go to a shop that specializes (preferably not the dealer) & they can repair. The system has a lot of parts.
