You know, you don't have to let your emotions control you. When a situation begins to raise those jealous feelings, learn to recognize them and remind yourself that you need to find a better way. There are two possible sides to your story that can't be determined by your question.
First is that your boyfriend is not really trustworthy, your emotions are justified, and he is using this as an excuse to dump you. If this is the case, be glad he did, you don't need to waste any more time on him.
Second, you are the jealous type; jealousy is a form of fear. When you first begin to feel this emotion, stop and try to figure out what is that fear based on. If you can find that and deal with what the real issue is, you're on your way to not being the jealous type. It takes practice and only you will really know if your fear is justified.
Jealousy mostly or just to wind you up.

If a guy sticks up for you it might be because he likes you. Maybe he is simply standing up for your character and the wrong someone else is doing.

He could be asking it out of jealousy, this doesn't have much of a meaning but as I stated, it could be out of jealousy. If anything, I would sort of ignore it and go on with it as he could be attempting to want you and him to break up so you would go out with him, I don't recommend something like that.
Unless you're talking about a kind of comedian, a "stand up guy" is a man who is responsible, loyal, honest, trustworthy, etc.--someone who has good character.
All guys are different.

She is a character in the movie "Supercross" she befriends a guy named "Trip" and they end up dating
It's up to your interpretation but most theorise that the character you play as is the killer.
Not really sure, but he ends up tied up (along with your character) later on in the Black Widow's lair.
The boy won the character trait perseverance because he never gave up and always had hope left.
