YES, UNLESS YOU DONT TAKE CARE OF YOUR HAIR. HOWEVER I RECOMEND THAT YOU DO KEEP THE MICROS AND KEEP SPRAYING SOME OLIVE OIL OILSHEEN ON THEM MOST OF EVERY DAY FOR AT LEAST 3 TO 4 MONTHS. SOME PEOPLE GET MICROS AND KEEP THEM FOR AT LEAST 1 TO 2 MONTHS AND THATS HOW YOUR HAIR COMES OUT, YOU HAVE TO KEEP THEM FOR A WHILE. MY HAIR IS REALLY THIN BUT WHEN I GET MICROS IT GROWS LONGER AND GETS THICKER!

Yeah don't worry about it! If you have naturally thick hair (like me) your natural hair will eventually grow out again. (: I've gotten mine thinned like 3 times but its always grown back to it's original thickness!
