check to see if u have antifreeze in the radiator or reservoir
If the problem is climate control on both temperature extremes it maybe the "blending door" mechanism. Usually if the mechanism fails you can hear it "flip" around during moderate acceleration (noise will occur from below the radio in the air flow housing). Ford models around the 1999/2000 years used this design and many owners had problems develop. I am unsure but I believe that it is very difficult to repair in that the entire dash has to be removed from the vehicle in order to make repairs.
did you check the heater core because my truck did that and that was what was wrong
One reason your home electric heater is blowing cold air is the heating elements are burned out. A bad thermostat may also be the problem.
Depends, Is it blowing air at all? If not then could be the fan, fan motor, or an electrical problem possibly with the heater controls. If it is just blowing cold then your going to want to check the heater coil, on that truck I believe it is on the passenger side under dash/floorboard. you may smell anti-freeze if so the heater coil is the problem.
Interior heat uses the engine heat. If the engine is still cold, the heater will blow cold. If the engine is warm and the heater is blowing cold, you have a problem with the heater. Check the water in the radiator and see if it is rusty. If it is rusty, change your coolant, thermostat, and hoses. Look at the heater hoses when someone steps down on the gas pedal. If a hose collapses, replace your heater hoses. Otherwise take it to a mechanic.
Same problem vectra heater only blowing cold checked water coolant and it was empty. Topped up now blowing hot just hope I not got head gasket probe
What do you mean by "has no heat"? No air blowing out, blowing out cold air when heater is on, blowing nothing at all? Heater not turning on? What specifically is happening?
Low coolant and a clogged heater core are possibilities.
faulty control valve on heater or air in the lines
I assume your car heater is blowing cold air, when the heater is on. It seems that, you have air on your coolant. that air pockets blocks the cooland to travel through your heater. it may be a sign of a bigger problem such as blown head gasket in the old cars, such acura legend
You may need to replace your Thermostat or your Heater Core.
If you are saying the heater is blowing out cold air you need to change the heater core which is located inside the dash
if car is blowing cold air, you need to check the thermostat, the heater core, and the heat control. the coolant will not blow cold air unless there is no coolant at all in engine, then you have bigger problem anyway
