It could but not always. Here is some helpfull info: the normal ranges for hemoglobin (Hgb) are 14.0-17.4 g/dL for men and 12.0-16.0 g/dL for women depending on the lab's standards. Hgb is the main component of red blood cells and transports oxygen and carbon dioxide in the body. Decreased Hgb are common findings in patients with anemia or iron deficiencies, liver disease, hypothyroidism, hemorrhage or bleeding both acute or chronic, reactions to chemical, and infections. Also, certain diseases, such as Hodgkin's disease, Leukemia, Lymphoma, and many more, can cause a decrease in the amount of Hgb in the body. An Increase in Hgb can be caused by congestive heart failure or chronic obstructive pulmonary disease. without a full medical histoy and work up it is impossible to know exactly what is causing the decreased Hgb.
That is a low hemoglobin count.
The American Society of Anesthesiologists Task Force on Blood Component Therapy recommendations1 based on hemoglobin concentration are:
Hemoglobin > 10 g/dL -- transfusion is rarely indicated.
Hemoglobin 6-10 g/dL -- indications for transfusion should be based on the patient's risk of inadequate oxygenation from ongoing bleeding and/or high-risk factors.
Hemoglobin < 6 g/dL -- transfusion is almost always indicated
The normal haemoglobin level in an adult male is 13-18gm/100ml of blood whereas in an adult female the normal haemoglobin level is 11.5-16.5 gm/100ml of blood. So for a woman 11.2 is not very low but for a man it is low.
Probably.
Adult male should be 14-18 gm/dl
Adult female should be 12 - 16 gm/dl
See link to hemoglobin info site.
Girls and women should have 12 so 11 is almost normal,
Teen guys and men should have 14-16
so 11 is a bit down but nothing alarming
hemoglobin 11.5
An MCH test is called a Mean Corpuscular Hemoglobin test. This test is to determine the average weight of hemoglobin that is present inside a red blood cell.
my mcv in blood test is 77? my mch is 26 and my hemoglobin is 122. what does it mean?
This test requires a blood sample. No special preparation is needed before the test.
it will show your hemogblobin level , and let you know if you're in a good health condition . if you wanna test your hemoglobin level at home, you can get a nice hemoglobin meter at medasia.store
could indicate anemia
That means you have a serious anemia, normal values are usually 12-16 depending on your gender.
complete blood count
MCH stands for mean corpuscular hemoglobin, which measures the average amount of hemoglobin in the red blood cells. MCHC stands for mean corpuscular hemoglobin concentration, which measures the concentration of hemoglobin in a given volume of packed red blood cells. Both are important parameters used in the analysis of red blood cells in a complete blood count (CBC) test.
what mean that is rose waaler is negative in blood test result?
You can get a hemoglobin a1c test completed at your local pharmacy. The purpose of the test is to measure your blood for the risk of very fatal diseases..
