If you have a faint line there is a hormone in your urine that is associated with pregnancy, but you may not be pregnant. However you could be pregnant. The best way to know would be to go to your doctors office and allow them to test. You could also wait 7 days and test again. Be sure to use your earliest morning urine as it caontains the highest levels of the hormone that your testing for. Also, if you are nervous or excited that you might be pregnant, it can cause you to miss periods, and sometimes also make you have symptoms that are false. It can be too early if you are pregnant to show a dark line...wait a week or even a few days and it should be darker if you are indeed pregnant. I had faint lines on 3 tests with my first pregnancy. If you wait and re-test and you don't see anything than it was probably a false positive or the test was done incorrectly.
