What would you like to do?
Answer Now it's time to call a real plumber. Answer I agree. When you replace shower or tub walls, you should always replace your fau…cet while you can. Alot of people don't and the plumber does not like any better than you do.
If when you turn the shower off water still drips from the shower head like a dripping tap can this be easily fixed?
Does the shower drip constantly over a period of 4-5 hours, if not, it's water holding in the shower head which has a water saving feature that holds water in the head. …If it drips constantly, you'll need to change your seals on your stems. It's fairly simple if you have the correct tools.
What should you do if your shower would not turn off after you took a shower and you turned off the main to the house but it kept on running and it slowed when you opened other faucets?
Answer The shower valve needs to be repaired! As for the water not shutting off when you turned off the main that is also needing replacement when it shut o…f by turning on other faucets you were simply diverting the flow from the leaking main shut off.
What could cause a high-pitched whine that happens for about 15 seconds when the faucets or showers in a house are turned on?

My shower faucet doesn't turn the full 180 degrees only 90 so the water doesn't get hot enough It's not the water heater because every other faucet in the house works fine Any suggestions?
It would help to know what brand and if it is a pressure /temperature balance type also AKA scald protection
1- plugged shower head 2- defective diverter
the pies are connected so when you turn on the shower the vaulve in the pipe going to the other shower might not be all the way closed thus causing it to leak
Shower lever quit diverting water to the shower head Water flows fine through the faucet but when you turn the lever to divert to the shower head there was a banging noise and then no water.?
you did not pay bill
D you mean tub spout and shower head???? If this is the question then your diverter is defective
You may have a broken pipe or have not paid your water bill and they turned it off at the main. Check the main for a tag from the department of water and power.
Why is there no water coming out of the shower head when it is turned on and there is water to the rest of the house?
the tap assebly could be cross connected if older shower set
You need either a new O ring in the shower or tap anew washer in the tap, or you should go to the toilet before showering.

New home and the shower faucet only turns 90 degrees instead 0f 180 and you get no hot water What do you need to do?
Not sure if it's related but I had a similar issue. Turns out there is a limiter for hot water inside my faucet. The instructions say that by default it does not limit the flo…w of hot water, but I finally removed the front cap and saw the limiter was so low that it blocked at 90 degrees and would not allow any hot water through. Switched the position of the limiter and everything is fine.
You need to check your hot/cold handles or the shower spicket. Not sure what type you have, but they come off. More than likely you need to just replace a gasket..
well its fine we got someone to check ours because that happend to us they said its fine its just getting a little old also you could get a new one if you want if it makes you… mad when it happens The divertor is messed up of course
