It might be green build up on the shell. Just to get rid of it whipe it softly with a paper towel. The fuzzy stuff on the head is probably skin. Because when my turtle eats it tries to rip up the food with his hands and ends up pulling skin from its head. And it sticks out. So. That is probably what is happening.

No it is not holy, not exactley anyway, then turtle was found holy in the 1400-1700 beacuse of it's shell, but as later resurch, it was descoverd that the shell of the turtle is a natural form, which then they found that other turtle's were the same and so were tortoises . A long time ago they were holy, but since 1700 (unkown ten's could be around 60's) It is not holy, hope i helped .
