Passing up piña coladas, Rumsey still gives a good buzz. Rumsey Electric distributes electrical construction equipment, utility products and services, and systems for relay and power, and lighting for retailers. Operating through one central distribution facility and 12 branches, the company caters to construction and industrial businesses, and utilities, as well as OEMs, institutions, and commercial Mid-Atlantic markets. Six of its branches are in Delaware, where Rumsey operates as Tecot Electric Supply (acquired in 1997).
