As far as Sammy is concerned, everything about its business is fun and games. The game maker's toy box is filled with pachislot and pachinko game machines, which account for the majority of Sammy's sales. The company also makes and markets arranged-ball and jankyu machines and their related equipment. Soon after a cancelled merger attempt with iconic SEGA in 2003, Sammy acquired about 20% of the video game developer from CSK, an IT services provider. Sammy announced renewed plans to merge with Sega in 2004 and the deal closed that fall, creating a new joint holding company of Sega Sammy Holdings. Sammy Corporation is a subsidiary of Sega Sammy.
