English family of architects. (1) Sir George Gilbert Scott I had two sons who became architects, (2) George Gilbert Scott II and (3) John Oldrid Scott. George Gilbert II also had two sons who were architects, (4) Sir Giles Gilbert Scott and (5) Adrian Gilbert Scott. Sir George Gilbert's younger brother, the doctor Samuel King Scott, married Georgina Bodley, the sister of the architect G. F. Bodley. Their son Bernard Scott, who was also a doctor, was the father of (6) Elizabeth Scott.
