Skyjack doesn't commandeer planes as its name might suggest; instead, it makes aerial work platforms. The company's scissor lifts allow workers to perform their duties at heights up to 56 feet, and they are drivable at full height. For more challenging work environments, the company offers rough-terrain models with four-wheel drive. Its boom lifts provide work heights ranging from 45 to 71 feet. Skyjack also sells new, used, and reconditioned booms, scissor lifts, and similar industrial equipment. It additionally provides reconditioning services for other companies. Machined components (primarily automotive) maker Linamar acquired the company in 2002; Skyjack is one of Linamar's industrial segments.
