From its pristine beaches to its stunning new vacation spots and contrasting clapboard shacks, there is so much that Anguilla has to offer tourists. However, there is some debate about whether Anguilla gets enough credit for its tourist-worthy attractions or whether it is over-hyped.

Those who love Anguilla find the lack of development refreshing. There are no casinos, nightclubs, or flashy neon lights. This means that the culture of the island’s native people has been allowed to flourish. Most who feel Anguilla is over-rated are those who are expecting to get more for their money (maybe a casino or two?).

Truly, the only way to find out whether Anguilla is an unspoiled paradise or a beautiful but over-priced vacation spot is to plan a visit. It isn’t possible to be disappointed by the white-sand beaches or the rolling turquoise ocean. One thing is certain, Anguilla is a blank slate – anyone has the opportunity to create the vacation of their dreams.
