Todd Shipyards helps keep boats afloat. The company operates a handful of Washington-based dry docks through subsidiaries Vigor Shipyards and Everett Shipyard; in the marketplace of private, that is non-governmental, shipyard owners, it is largest in the US Pacific Northwest. Its work focuses on repair (minor jobs to major overhauls) and maintenance of federal government as well as commercial vessels that plow the region's waters.
