It's oil for one and one for oil. With a single-minded focus on hydrocarbons, Unit conducts onshore drilling of oil and natural gas wells for customers in the Gulf Coast, Midcontinent, and Rocky Mountain regions of the US. Through Unit Drilling, it has a drilling fleet of more than 120 rigs. The company owns stakes in about 8,000 wells. Unit also has upstream and midstream businesses. Unit Petroleum explores for and produces oil and gas in the Anadarko and Arkoma basins of Oklahoma and Texas. In 2010 it reported proved reserves of 622.2 billion cu. ft. of natural gas equivalent. Its Superior Pipeline subsidiary buys, sells, gathers, processes, and treats natural gas.
