Stefani Valadez is a contemporary vocalist of the Sephardic tradition.
She has released two albums, Other Voices and Ladino Alive!. These explore the rich musical tradition of the Sephardic community. Her repertoire of traditional Ladino and Hebrew songs is an enlightening window into the culture and language of the Spanish Jews.
She also infuses her music with a modern flair. Her most recent album, Ladino Alive!, features a modern original composition, entitled "You Hold Up Half The Sky." by Albert Greenberg. Her CD "Other Voices" contains an original by Stefani, titled "Once Again Another Time".
