Verigy's customers like to test their memory. The company is a leading maker of automated testing equipment (ATE) used in the manufacturing of semiconductors. Its product line tests flash and DRAM memory devices, high-speed memory chips, system-on-chip (SoC) devices, and low-cost MCUs in various types of packages. Most of Verigy's revenue comes from equipment sales; it has more than 4,500 test systems installed worldwide.
