Biography

Through the incorporation of thick, distorted guitars, haunting vocals, and all-around flowing appeal, the San Francisco-based ViV has been critically linked to the likes of the Jesus and Mary Chain and My Bloody Valentine. Originally starting out as a studio project when they got together in 1996, the members of Robert Liam (guitars/bass) and Brittany Adams (vocals/piano) eventually started playing out after the release of their self-titled, self-released first album in 1998. ~ Mike DaRonco, All Music Guide
