Stanisław Zaczyk (19231985) was a Polish theatre and film actor. Awarded the Polonia Restituta (1969).

Biography

Stanisław Zaczyk was born on September 26 1923 in Nowy Sącz, Poland. In 1945 he graduated the Theatre Studio near The Old Theatre, Kraków. In this year made his own actor debut in Pierre Corneille's Le Cid portraying a Page in the stages of The Old Theatre. In the years of 19461950 he played on the cities of Jelenia Góra and Wrocław. Then he came back to Kraków and became an actor of Juliusz Słowacki Theatre. Since 1960 Zaczyk played on stages of Warsaw theatres: Narodowy Theatre (19601963, 19651968), The Polish Theatre (19631965), Ataneum Theatre (19691974), Powszechny Theatre (19741975). He made his own film debut in 1945 in 2+2=4 directed by Antoni Bohdziewicz.

He dead on April 6 1985 in Warsaw, Poland.
