The henchmen. They do all the dirty work for the bad guys, yet they are always under-appreciated and abused. Audiences don't fully appreciate all they do and neither do their bosses so it's time to show them some love.

Wez was Lord Humungous's minion who gets killed by Mel Gibson. The poor guy never had a chance but while he was alive, he was a top-notch character.

Archibald Cunningham was one henchman audiences couldn't wait to see die. He was a villain in his own right and didn't have to be working for anyone else. he stole, raped and murdered his way into the hearts of the six people who actually watched 'Rob Roy.'

If you've ever seen 'Raiders of the Lost Ark,' you probably remember the German henchman who never got a name. Audiences wanted him to win, despite the fact that he was a bad guy.

Colonel Tavington

Colonel Tavington

Colonel Tavington had to do all the dirty work for General Cornwallis. He was psychotic in his own right but never really got to prove himself.

Snake Walker

Snake Walker

Snake Walker worked for the evil Doc Hopper in 'The Muppet Movie.' Snake was a sinister frog killer and you just know he's stalking Kermit, even today.

Maximilian

Maximilian

Maximilian was, in a word, awesome. He doesn't say anything but can make grown men squirm just by staring at them.

Mr. Joshua

Mr. Joshua from 'Lethal Weapon' is wound up tighter than a yo-yo and that's what makes him fun. He adds the perfect amount of psycho to the movie. The perfect role for Gary Busey.

According to many 'Star Wars' fans, Darth Sidious' sidekick, Darth Maul was incompetent. However, the fight he had with Qui-Gon and Obi-Wan was amazing and Sidious couldn't have done better himself. His character was killed off too soon.

Yes, Otis was a little on the 'slow' side. However, most bad guys would do well to find such a loyal henchman. Lex Luthor never appreciated what he had in Otis.

LeFou

LeFou, which is the translation for 'the fool" was an idiot. However, he loved and cherished his boss, the evil Gaston in 'Beauty and the Beast.' No matter how much wrong Gaston did, LeFou still loved him.

Flotsam and Jetsam

Flotsam and Jetsam

Flotsam and Jetsam didn't need Ursula to be mean and scary. They could scare Ariel and her friends all by themselves.

Dr. Forrester

Dr. Forrester

Although Dr. Forrester wasn't as bright as some of the other henchmen audiences love to hate, he had a pure love of evil. He rarely succeeded in his evil plots, but that never stopped him from trying.

Brain

Brain

You may not think of a dog as being the perfect henchman, but remember back to how completely unappreciated Brain from 'Inspector Gadget' was. Brain and Penny saved the Inspector more times that audiences remember.
