1. The second son of Zebulum and head of the family of the Elonites according to the second census of the Children of Israel taken by Moses and Eleazar (Num 26:2, 26).

2. A Hittite, father-in-law of Esau; his daughter is called Basemath in Genesis 26:34 and Adah in Genesis 36:2.

3. Elon the Zebulunite, a judge in Israel; he succeeded Ibzan, was judge for ten years, and at his death "was buried at Aijalon, in the country of Zebulun" (Judg 12:10-12).

4. A city which fell to the lot of the tribe of Dan (Josh 19:40, 43) when Joshua divided the land among the Children of Israel (Josh 14:1). It was near Timnah (Josh 19:43) but its present location is unknown.
