How To Get Free Verizon Ringtones

As a cellular phone owner, you know that adding personalized ringtones is one of the best parts of owning a phone. Whether a recording of Grandpa's snoring or the theme to Seinfeld, individualized ringtones cheer you up each time the phone rings, even if you are getting called by a telemarketer. However, these ringtones cost money, averaging anywhere from $1 to $5 per tone. However, several websites offer free ringtones of virtually any song, sound or theme. Knowing where to find them can save you hundreds of dollars during your phone's life and give you far more choices than pricey tones.

Myxer

Myxer retains a massive following of ringtone seekers and remains one of the most popular sources of ringtones. At the home page, select "Sign up for free." If you already have a Facebook account, you can link it to Myxer, saving the trouble of signing in separately. From there, it allows you to sign up for several accounts: a personal, publicity or professional account. Select "Personal." After filling in the required forms and returning to the homepage, thousands of free ringtones are at your fingertips, along with free wallpaper, videos and even mp3s. As a bonus, a free service converts any mp3, giving you infinite possibilities.

Phonezoo

Phonezoo features a similar interface, allowing you to create an account through Facebook. Not as graphic-intense as Myxer, this website moves slightly quicker, but does not have quite as many download options. However, the process is quicker and easier. This site also allows you to upload a photo, edit it and turn it into a wallpaper within minutes. This is a handy feature if you want to resize or crop a cell phone's wallpaper.

With the thousands of free song and sounds at your fingertips, paying for a ringtone seems foolish.

Before sites like Phonezoo and Myxer, the decision with ringtones was whether you should fork out the few dollars or save them. Now, the only choice to make is how many ringtones you want to download or which one of your favorite songs you should use. With so many options available, including customized features, paying for ringtones anymore seems ridiculous.
