Game Description

In Adventure 2: Pirate Adventure, you undertake a search for hidden pirate treasure. Starting at your apartment in London, you journey to a tropical isle to construct a pirate ship to take you to Treasure Island! Along the way, you will face hungry crocodiles, grumpy pirates, and deadly black mamba snakes.

This game is from the Scott Adams Adventure series produced for personal computers between 1978 and 1984. Adams' inspiration was the original DEC Adventure program that allowed the player to use two-word commands to explore an imaginary world and manipulate items.

This Scott Adams Adventure uses a split-screen format. The top of the screen displays a description of the current room and its contents. The bottom portion of the screen scrolls as you enter new commands. A save game feature allows you to save your progress.
