Dental Dictionary:

non-Hodgkins lymphoma

n

Any of a group of malignant tumors of a lymphoid tissue that differ from Hodgkin’s disease, being more heterogeneous with respect to malignant cell lineage, clinical course, prognosis, and therapy. The only feature shared by these tumors is the absence of Reed-Sternberg cells, which are characteristic of Hodgkin’s disease.
