Sleazy yet non-threatening glam metal was the order of the day the first time around for Pretty Boy Floyd, and that's pretty much true of their unlikely return to recording in the late '90s. Because of the context in which they're recording, Porn Stars doesn't seem quite so commercially calculated as their debut album, Leather Boyz with Electric Toyz, which appeared during hair metal's heyday. Still, it's pretty similar musically, although the production is thankfully a little less slick. Fans of '80s hard rock have had little to cheer about in the '90s; Porn Stars may appeal to that attention-starved demographic. ~ Steve Huey, All Music Guide

Porn Stars is the second studio album by the band Pretty Boy Floyd. It features re-recordings of five tracks from their debut album. The production on this recording is notably far more raw than their debut.
The album features two covers, "Shout It Out Loud" by Kiss and "Department Of Youth" by Alice Cooper. Ironically, Pretty Boy Floyd guitarist Keri Kelli is now in Alice Cooper's band.
